Millie was born and raised in East Dallas. She grew up playing volleyball in the same local sports community many Dallas families know well. She first played indoor volleyball at the age of six with SVAA before being introduced to beach volleyball by her club coach and mentor, who was launching a brand-new beach volleyball club called MadSand. Millie joined “Coach Will” as the very first athlete in the history of MadSand, a club that would quickly grow into one of the top junior beach volleyball programs in the country.

After a standout indoor volleyball career at Dallas Lutheran High School, Millie continued her beach volleyball journey at the NCAA Division I level with Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. As a member of the Islanders beach volleyball program she earned her way into the lineup as a freshman at Flight #3 before competing at Flight #2 during both her sophomore and junior seasons.

Millie is passionate about sharing the game that has given her so many incredible experiences, friendships, and opportunities with young athletes. Her lessons focus on creating a fun, encouraging environment for beginners while also helping more experienced players sharpen their skills and gain confidence on the sand.

When she’s not studying or competing, Millie enjoys riding reigning horses, spending time with her King Charles Cavalier “Lil’ Dude,” baking amazing carrot cakes, and watching classic 80’s movies. She can recite dialogue from most episodes of the TV show The Office from memory.
